Rice in a life bowl

Aah- Rishikesh(17-22/8/06)

After finishing Hamta Pass trek (actually at the same day), I traveled in 3 buses to get to Rishikesh: I went on a 10 hours local bus from Manali to Chandigar, than on a 6 hours but to Hariduar, and from there on another local bus to Rishikesh.During my stay there I stayed at Laxmanjula area. Recommended place to sleep: Either the family guesthouse just after Ganga view Cafe, opposite Bombay guesthouse, or the family guesthouse just after the big temple (in Laxmanjula- after crossing the bridge and turning left) on the left hand side (before Ganga view cafe

A very recommended local restaurant: Rajastani Restaurant near the Rishikesh Market (Hariduar Rd., on the right hand side just after the vegetable market).
