Our beautiful guesthouse in Leh
In Leh, me and Ofir took a wonderful Ladaki family guesthouse (Woodland guesthouse is its name, if I’m not mistaken. It is located in Changspa area. At the end of the main street you turn left – on the opposite direction to upper Changspa, and the hostel is on the right hand side, just under the Shanti gompa).
There were problems with the water, it’s true, but the room was great, the atmosphere among the guests and with the family was pleasant and inspiring, the garden outside turned to Shanti gompa (a Buddhist Japanese temple) on one side to the snowed caped mountains from the other side
Most important in this guesthouse were the dinners- Every night we enjoyed brilliant Ladaki stile, homemade dinners, in a beautiful Ladaki Kitchen, with very interesting guests from around the world sitting around the table and shearing interesting experiences.
